Welcome Elizabeth McKinney to the SBI Board

Please welcome Elizabeth McKinney to the Shoals Business Incubator Board of Directors. Elizabeth is originally from Haleyville, Alabama but moved to the Shoals to attend UNA in 2011. After obtaining her Bachelor of Business Administration in Human Resources and a Masters of Higher Education Administration from UNA, she has stayed in Florence. Currently, she works for Western Governors University as a Faculty Advisor.

In 2018, Elizabeth married Colton McKinney, the President of Pearson Safety Solutions (previously Compliance Management). They spend their time together, on the lake, watching college football and traveling.

With a background in fundraising, marketing and event coordination - Elizabeth plans to bring that experience to the SBI Board of Directors. “The Shoals Business Incubator does so many good things for the community and I hope to promote all their good works.” Elizabeth says about the newly appointed position. She is passionate about the community and loves how the Shoals supports local businesses and entrepreneurs. Welcome to the Board, Elizabeth!
