Red Clay Farms Partners with Green Acres Organic Pharm

Red Clay Farms, located in North Alabama, took a leap of faith and entered the hemp market this past year. They started small, with two acres of product. It has been a long process due to the stringent regulations and changing guidelines in the industry. Red Clay planned to take the hemp back to Virginia for processing but discovered how cost prohibitive transporting that amount of product would be. That is when they started to do a little market research and found Green Acres Organic Pharms.

They reached out to Carmelo, the owner of Green Acres Organic Pharms, and decided it would be a beneficial partnership. Both companies want to create an organic product that is as natural as possible. And they are both small businesses working through the obstacles of the CBD market. Working closely together, the first crop was harvested and delivered to Green Acres warehouse.

Many CBD companies use a drying process of chopping up the hemp and putting it into dryers for a faster dry time. This loses many of the nutrients that make for a better product. Red Clay and Green Acres hang dry the hemp for drying and retain nutrients to make for a better end result. The hanging process made for an interesting first experience but they are now on to the production phase.

The CBD oil is currently in production. Unfortunately, the hold up has been the bottle delivery. Once they arrive, the first product should hit the market the second week in February. Watch for their new line of CBD Oils and website, www.redclayfarms.com.

This is a new adventure, people just need to have faith and hopefully their business will grow!
