SBi Update: A Successful 2019

As 2019 comes to a close, it has been a successful year at the Shoals Business Incubator. With our goal for our business clients continue to expand and grow, we have had several businesses graduate from the Shoals Business Incubator this year.

Another SBi triumph of 2019 is the acquisition of IMS. In July of 2019, Haris’ Local Government division completed their acquisition of IMS Enterprises Inc. IMS is a full-service credit and debit payment processor. They specialize in providing processing software solutions to government organizations and will complement HLG’s existing public sector software portfolio.

Harris Local Government has provided public sector leaders specialized, mission-critical software for over 40-years. They serve over 5,500 small and mid-sized municipalities, counties, utility and park districts, and libraries throughout the United States.

IMS’s headquarters is located at the Shoals Business Incubator in Florence, AL. The company will remain at this location and will be supported by Harris Local Government.
